The President of the Republic Ibrahim Boubacar Ke\u00efta ensures the continuation of the reform, the \u201cNO\u201d does not want to hear about it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Within the Platform, the speech has not changed: the pure and simple withdrawal of the reform project. Its members, including the opposition and a large part of the civil society, have made it known this week in an open letter to the President of the Republic. An ultimatum is even given to Ibrahim Boubacar Ke\u00efta until August 15. Otherwise, the Platform promises to use all legal means to win the case. Sources specify the use of civil disobedience.<\/p>\n<p>In the letter, supporters of the \u201cNO\u201d expressed their indignation at the silence of Koulouba \u201cdespite the various demonstrations\u201d in Bamako and in certain regions.<\/p>\n<p>Just before, President IBK assured in an interview on national television that \u201cno one can say that he is opposed to the fact that the Malian people\u201d exercise their right to vote. \u201cTo say that there will be no constitutional review is not republican\u201d, added the President of the Republic, recalling that the Constitutional Court considered in a ruling that the reform project is \u201cconstitutionally admissible\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Until possible consultations on the issue in the coming days, the gap remains large between the two camps.
