The report shows more than 70 billion of shortfalls for the State. The auditor pointed out \u201cfailures\u201d notably on the control of imports of petroleum products on the Dakar-Bamako route. \u201cAt least ten tanks of 50,000 liters\u201d escape each month from customs control.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Among the \u201cserious breaches\u201d, according to the Auditor General, the improper exercise of the profession of customs broker and failing essential controls during the transit operations and the non-application of penalties provided for customs offenses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese failures mean that at least one tank with a capacity of 50,000 liters of super fuel escapes control every three (3) days, or at least 10 tanks of this same capacity per month\u201d, he notes.<\/p>\n<p>A remark that the BVG endorses, according to him, \u201cthe discovery\u201d in May 2015 of some fifty tanks \u201cfraudulently that entered Malian territory in the constant and contradictory presence of the auditors of the BVG and the elements of the control office within the General Directorate of Customs.<\/p>\n<a  class=\"vc_btn vc_btn-black vc_btn-sm vc_btn_square \" href=\"#\">Sahelien.com<\/a>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In Mali, the Office of the Auditor General (BVG) presented its report to the President of the Republic Ibrahim Boubacar Ke\u00efta on Wednesday.
