This Saturday, December 30, he is appointed Prime Minister by the President of the Republic and charged with forming a new government.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Considered by many as a tough man, this former journalist who has held several ministerial portfolios, is deemed close to President Ke\u00efta. President of the ASMA-FC party, a member of the Presidential Majority Convention (CMP), he is one of the faithfuls to IBK. Renowned for his good knowledge of security, military issues, Soumeylou Boubeye Ma\u00efga, also from Gao, was described for several months as having the good profile to become Prime Minister.<\/p>\n<p>His appointment comes hours after the resignation of Abdoulaye Idrissa Ma\u00efga.
