A convoy escorting a water tank of the Malian army was victim of a road accident, this Tuesday May 31 in Kassoum, in the Timbuktu region.
The escort was intended for the road construction company SATOM of Niafunke. But according to the official site of the Malian armed forces, the mission suffered a road accident on the road to Kassoum, a locality in the Timbuktu region.
“It’s a pickup truck that overturned on the road. The result is one dead and four wounded including three serious”, still according to the site of the armed forces. The wounded were evacuated to the health centers for treatment.
