Three attacks targeted the Malian defense and security forces on Monday and Tuesday, respectively in Ouan, Dioro and near the Kéré forest.
Yesterday night, armed men attacked the police station of Ouan in the Tominian circle, killing one person and injuring two. “At the same time, the gendarmerie station of Dioro (Markala) was also attacked”, but no casualties, the Malian army said.
This Tuesday, October 24 around 9 am, two soldiers were wounded near the Kéré forest. Their vehicle, which was part of an army convoy, jumped on an improvised explosive device.
