Hundreds of people filled the Palais de la Culture in Bamako on Friday, January 1st, 2021, to pay a last tribute to the late Malian opposition, Soumaïla Cissé. Cissé died a week ago from Covid-19 in Paris.
Sahelien is a news site created in February 2014 by Malian, Nigerian, Burkina Faso and American journalists, with the support of the Klédu Group (Mali) and the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA).
