Mali : release of 4 humanitarians kidnapped in the center

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced the release of the four humanitarians kidnapped Sunday evening in the Ténenkou circle (Mopti region).

They were released yesterday Monday in the late afternoon. The organization says this release was obtained without conditions.

The team was in Ténenkou « as part of the assessment of the humanitarian situation when unidentified armed individuals forced them to follow them ». The identity of the kidnappers has not been revealed.
